Scotland missing four players

Scotland are without four players for their opening Euro 2012 qualifier against Lithuania on Friday.

Craig Levein told a press conference that Chris Iwelumo, Andy Webster, Lee Wallace and Kevin McNaughton would all miss out due to injury after being assessed by Scotland's medical staff. Wolves striker Steven Fletcher is also a major doubt.

"Definitely out of the game is Chris Iwelumo," Levein said. "He picked up a hamstring strain, he has been assessed by the medical team and is definitely out.

"Lee Wallace will also miss the first match. Andy Webster is out, he has an ongoing situation with his hamstring and hasn't played for a while so I expected that one.

"McNaughton won't be available for the first match but he might be available for the second game. Steven Fletcher is a doubt for the first game but we will find out more on that. The good news is that Alan Hutton is here, I thought he would miss the first game but it looks as though he will be okay."

Scotland open their campaign away at Lithuania in Kaunas on Friday.
