Guardiola 'tired' of Ibra situation

Pep Guardiola has said he is "tired" of the situation with Zlatan Ibrahimovic after leaving the striker out of the Barcelona squad to face Racing Santander on Sunday.

Agent criticises Guardiola
Pep denies 'communications problems

Ibrahimovic, 28, joined Barca from Inter in a big-money part-exchange deal involving Samuel Eto'o last summer, but he has struggled to live up to expectations and now looks likely to leave the club. AC Milan are holding talks over the signing and a transfer looks set to go through shortly.

Ibrahimovic has accused Guardiola of failing to communicate with him over recent months and his agent, Mino Raiola, has made several negative comments about the Barca boss. Guardiola admits he is unhappy with the whole affair and suggested the player will be moving on shortly.

"I am tired of the Ibrahimovic situation," he said. "We will see what happens in the coming hours. I am not happy with the way this situation has been managed. For now, Ibrahimovic is a Barcelona player. We will see what happens.

"I am the boss here, and I decided not to pick him [against Racing Santander]. In a normal situation, he would have been picked but, in this situation, it was best not to select him."

On Raiola, he added: "I am surprised that he knows me so well. I have ever only spoken to him once in my life. I thank the club for defending me after they published the statement. That has not affected me as I can defend myself. I said okay to the statement and now it's with the legal team."

Meanwhile, Barcelona have confirmed Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano has arrived at the club and will hold a medical on Monday.
