Milan: Huntelaar part of Ibrahimovic deal

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that he is negotiating to include Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as part of a part-exchange deal for Barcelona's unsettled striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibra 'will only join three clubs'

Galliani held transfer talks with Barcelona counterpart Sandro Rosell following a friendly match between the two clubs at Camp Nou on Wednesday and negotiations appear to be slowly progressing.

"It's a long road ahead, I'd say the chances of Milan signing Ibrahimovic are 50%. We're discussing Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and personal terms," Galliani said following the meeting. "At this point the two clubs are working towards a definitive sale. There will be no loan deal."

Milan's initial offer reportedly to take Ibrahimovic on loan until the end of the season with striker Marco Borriello heading to Camp Nou in exchange. But the deal has changed dramatically, with Milan now expected to pay out around €30 million plus Huntelaar.

Gallianni said: "I would like to make it clear that Marco Borriello is not for sale, but we are negotiating over Huntelaar. Up until now I have not had direct contact with the player. I'm going to see him now."

Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola had previously ruled out a pay-cut, but he has now hinted that his client would be willing to take a drop in pay to move to the San Siro. "Reducing your wages is not a nice thing, but sometimes it is necessary to conclude a deal," Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.

Should the deal fail to go through, Galliani has revealed Milan will turn their attentions to Robinho, who is unsettled at Manchester City. He told Sky Italia: "Robinho is the alternative to Ibrahimovic, but we want the Swedish striker."
