Premier Showdown - Aug 21-23

So Tommy and Dale shared the spoils in the opening round of Showdown last weekend. It wasn't a high-scoring round until both got a correct scoreline at Anfield on Monday night.

We're expecting better this weekend, and joining on behalf of the Rest of the World is Bob McFarland, who hails from Camp LeJeune, NC, in the United States.

Bob tells us: "I'm a 62-year-old Safety Manager. My company has just finished building it's 3000th house for the Marine Corps at Camp LeJeune in just four years. I played for 46 years and would again if I could find an age group team here in North Carolina! Go Arsenal!"

It's time to play!

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
