First win for Bordeaux, Caen still unbeaten
Michael Ciani headed a winner four minutes into stoppage time to earn Bordeaux their first points of the season with a 2-1 win at Paris St Germain on Sunday.
The hosts dominated the first hour, only a combination of poor finishing and fine goalkeeping from Cedric Carrasso keeping the scores level, but Alou Diarra gave Bordeaux a 67th-minute lead against the run of play.
Guillaume Hoarau levelled in the 76th minute, but the capital club could not hold on as Ciani struck at the death.
Caen maintained their unbeaten start to life in Ligue 1 with a battling goalless draw at Montpellier.
The top-flight new-boys have grabbed most of the headlines in the first two weeks of the season with stunning victories against Lyon and Marseille.
And while they could not make it three from three today they are likely to be content with another hard-earned point, especially after spending much of the contest on the back foot before a late rally almost reaped an undeserved win.
A jaded Lille and Sochaux also drew a blank. Lille's Yohan Cabaye came closest to scoring but saw his effort come back off the post.
