Diego Forlan denies he was the subject of interest from Inter Milan following his starring role in Uruguay's run to the World Cup semi-finals.
Forlan, 31, won the Golden Ball thanks to his performances in South Africa and was quickly linked with all manner of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.
Treble-winners Inter were also believed to be interested in the Atletico Madrid star, but Forlan claims he was never in contact with the Nerazzurri and has no intention of leaving the Vicente Calderon.
"They were just rumours," Forlan said. "I didn't receive any offer. I'm not moving anyway - I have three years on my contract and I'm happy."
Forlan joined Atleti from Villarreal in 2007 and has scored 16, 32 and 18 league goals in successive seasons with the capital club.
