Mamadou Niang signs for Fenerbahce

Striker Mamadou Niang has completed his move to Fenerbahce from Marseille.

Marseille confirmed Niang, 30, was leaving the club after their 3-2 defeat at Valenciennes on Saturday evening.

A statement on Marseille's club website read: "Marseille confirm the departure of Mamadou Niang to Fenerbahce on Saturday evening after the match at Valenciennes. After five seasons at the club, the Senegalese player has committed to the Turkish club after scoring 100 goals in the colours of Marseille.''

Niang joined Marseille from Strasbourg in 2005 and scored 18 times in the league last term to help the south coast side win the title.
