Lukaku wants to remain in Belgium
Romelu Lukaku has received interest from Real Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea, according to his representative, but he plans to remain at Anderlecht for at least another year.
Lukaku, 17, scored 15 goals in 25 games last season and Spanish newspaper Marca has claimed Jose Mourinho has targeted the striker as he looks to bolster his attacking options.
However, representative Christophe Henrotay says Lukaku, who has been likened to Didier Drogba, has said he wants to continue his development in Belgium.
"None of the clubs have contacted us or Anderlecht lately, but I know that Real came to see Romelu a few times and the interest is there," he told De Standaard. "There is also interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and all the great European clubs, but it's too soon.
"The ideal scenario for Romelu is to stay at Anderlecht this year and play in the Champions League. Romelu shouldn't be in any rush."
Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck confirmed he had seen the front page of Marca detailing Mourinho's interest and said: "We are honoured by this compliment from the greatest coach of the moment.
"It's a compliment to our work in developing youth and for our club generally, but we haven't received any concrete bids for Romelu."
