Cameroon international winger Somen Tchoyi is set to sign for West Brom, according to reports in the Express & Star.
Tchoyi, who plays for Red Bull Salzburg, is the reigning Austrian player-of-the-year and was allowed to miss his side's Champions League qualifier against Omonia Nicosia on Wednesday.
The powerful striker, who can also fill in as an attacking central midfielder, has been capped 14 times by his country and has been on the Baggies' radar for some time.
The club are also believed to be interested in signing Blackburn's Jason Roberts. The striker has a year left on his contract and could be available for less than £1 million.
