Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen's advisor has confirmed he held talks with Liverpool on Wednesday but says no decisions have yet been made.
Roy Hodgson has confirmed his interest in signing Denmark international Poulsen, 30, who is believed to be deemed surplus to requirements at Juve.
Advisor Jorn Bonnesen is now returning to Denmark having held talks with Liverpool, but he has said matters have not yet been resolved.
"I don't know if we have an agreement," he told tipsbladet.dk. "Things haven't been decided as yet, but we will proceed when I arrive home. This is a big issue that cannot be resolved in two minutes.
"I actually don't know if the clubs have made an agreement. I was over there to negotiate Christian's personal terms, and to hear what Liverpool had to say."
