Klasnic seals Bolton return

Bolton have confirmed that striker Ivan Klasnic has returned to the club on a two-year deal after being released by Nantes.

• Blog: Tom Cleverley to follow Klasnic?

Klasnic enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Reebok Stadium last season and revealed that the opportunity to work with Owen Coyle again was the main incentive to return to Bolton.

"I'm really pleased to be here now that everything is done," Klasnic told Bolton's official website.

"I spoke to the manager - he wants to work with me and I want to work with him. It was an easy decision to come back to Bolton."

Coyle has moved to bolster his attacking options, and will be hoping that Croatia frontman Klasnic can replicate his goalscoring exploits from last season, when he netted eight Premier League goals for the Trotters.

Klasnic becomes the fourth player to move to Bolton this summer following the arrivals of Martin Petrov, Robbie Blake and Marcos Alonso.
