Lionel Messi admits he was hit hard by Argentina's World Cup exit but insists he is now fully focused on success with Barcelona again.
Argentina impressed during the group stage in South Africa and then eliminated Mexico, but their hopes of an unexpected triumph ended as they were thrashed 4-0 by Germany in the quarter-finals.
"It did affect me a lot because I did not expect to lose against Germany, but that is over and nothing more can be done," he said. "Looking back for too long would be a mistake. I have recovered and I am only thinking about Barcelona now.
"The aims are always the same. This year we will be going for all the titles. We know it's difficult but we have a great squad. The group is keen to get going again and we are in good shape to get started."
"It would be a pleasure to play again with Cesc," he said. "If he comes then he would have no problem adapting."
