Marseille and several Premier League clubs have shown interest in Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz, according to the player's agent.
Santa Cruz, 28, joined City from Blackburn last summer in a £17.5 million deal, but he struggled to make an impression in an injury-hit first season and now looks to be surplus to requirements at Eastlands.
Stoke, Fulham and Olympiakos have all been linked with a move for the striker, and agent Jan van Baal has now confirmed that his client could move on this summer.
"If he leaves, City would certainly want to get back a bit of their investment," he told the Daily Mail. "He won't go for free. I could see a paid-for loan with an automatic option to buy. It's the fashionable solution, but that's up to Manchester City.
"There are some leads in the Premier League and abroad. He still has his admirers. I know that Marseille are interested and there have been a few discussions.
"It is an interesting destination. They are in the Champions League and they have a manager who is established. These are important factors. He has the profile for Marseille."
