Sven interested in Fulham, but no offer - agent

Athole Still, agent for former England and Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, has admitted his client could be tempted by the vacancy at Fulham but confirmed there had been no contact with the London club.

Eriksson has ''unfinished business'' in the Premier League following his sacking by City in 2008 and the Swede, now out of contract following the end of his contract with Ivory Coast, could be interested in a move to Craven Cottage according to Still.

''It's a very attractive club, not just for Sven-Goran Eriksson,'' Still told Radio Five Live. ''But (there has been) no contact whatsoever.

''We've know for several weeks that Sven was one of the managers under consideration for the job. (There has been) no interview, no discussion whatsoever.''

Still also claimed Eriksson was treated badly by Man City because of a clash of personalities with then-owner Thaksin Shinawatra.

''Of course he has unfinished business there (the Premier League),'' said Still. ''He was in my view outrageously sacked from his position.

''He did a first-class job with Manchester City - it was a personal non-compatability with Dr Shinawatra which caused him to be sacked. He should still be there.''

Meanwhile, Cardiff have confirmed that there has been no approach for manager Dave Jones from Fulham.

A statement read: "Neither the club or the manager have received an approach from Fulham Football Club regarding the vacant manager's job at Craven Cottage. As ever, he is 100% concentrating on preparing the team for the new season."
