South Africa international Bongani Khumalo has claimed he is set to head to Tottenham for a trial.
SuperSport United defender Khumalo, 23, rose to prominence during this summer's World Cup, where he scored against France, and he has now said his agent is in talks over a trial with Spurs.
"They are working on it at the moment, but it hasn't been confirmed as of yet," he told Football365.co.za. "It would be a dream.
"I have always wanted to play in England and obviously in the Premier League and it would be a dream to move to Tottenham - and if it happened, it would be up to me to make sure it works.''
"Playing in the Champions League would be another dream. I think the Champions League is the closest level to the World Cup in terms of quality and the play, so it would be great to make the move."
