Sousa appointment confirmed
Leicester have appointed former Swansea boss Paulo Sousa as their new coach.
Leicester were without a manager following Nigel Pearson's departure to Hull, but Sousa - who led Swansea to the brink of the play-offs last season - has now taken charge.
Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric told the club's official website: "I am delighted to acquire a manager of such great calibre. Paulo has an excellent reputation both as a player and now as a manager, and I believe that he is the right man to take our club forward.
"I admire his style of football and I am sure all supporters will join me in looking ahead to the new season."
Sousa won the Champions League with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund in a playing career that also took in spells at Benfica, Sporting, Inter, Parma, Panathinaikos and Espanyol. He began his management career at QPR in 2008.
