Moratti: Inter only focused on beating Barcelona

Massimo Moratti is unwilling to let his mind wander to thoughts of a fifth consecutive Scudetto and has pledged that everyone at Inter Milan is fully focused on Wednesday's Champions League tie against Barcelona.

Inter assumed control of the Serie A title race once again at the weekend when their 3-1 win over Atalanta, coupled with Roma's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sampdoria, saw the Nerazzurri move two points clear at the top of the table with three games remaining.

But for Inter - and owner Moratti, who has never seen his beloved club lift the Champions League - Europe is the priority as they attempt to hold onto their 3-1 advantage from the first leg and defeat reigning Champions Barcelona to reach the final in Madrid.

"We are already projected towards Wednesday evening's game in Barcelona," Moratti told the club's official website. "We are all concentrated on this very important Champions League game.

"As for the rest, there might be a point more or a point less in the championship but there are still three important matches to go until the end of the season, both for us and for Roma.

"We will see [about the title]. For now we are thinking about Barcelona."
