Ghaly allowed to return to action
Al-Nassr midfielder Hossam Ghaly has been cleared of doping charges and will be allowed to return to action on May 2 in the Saudi King Cup of Champions match against Al-Hilal.
Ghaly has been out of action for over a month after testing positive for a banned substance, but a second test proved negative and the Saudi Arabia Football Federation has now lifted his ban.
His agent Nader Shwaki said last week: ''There must be something wrong because Hossam is a professional who is fully aware of the gravity of using banned substances.''
The Egypt midfielder, 28, moved to Saudi Arabia from Tottenham in January 2009, having previously played for El-Ahly, Feyenoord and Derby.
