Five A-League clubs fined for misconduct
Football Federation Australia (FFA) have fined five clubs for misconduct during matches last weekend with penalties ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
Gold Coast United copped $5,000 for "team misconduct" due to a scuffle in the 69th minute of their clash with Central Coast Mariners in Gosford on January 22.
Central Coast were fined $3,000 for the same offence.
Perth Glory and Wellington Phoenix were both fined $3,000 for team misconduct due to the melee in their January 22 match in Perth.
Adelaide United were handed a suspended fine of $1,000 for having seven players receive yellow cards against Melbourne last Saturday night.
