The Central Coast Mariners have boosted their attacking stocks by capturing the services of Welsh youngster Johnathan Brown.
Brown, 19, has made six under-21 appearances for Wales and is a product of English Championship club Cardiff City as well as being a former national age champion over 100m.
Mariners coach Lawrie McKinna says the speedy winger or striker will be a welcome addition to the squad.
"As soon as I saw his resume I spoke to Matt Crowell to ask after him and had some positive feedback, so we've had him in at training over the last few weeks and he's looked good," McKinna said.
"Only being 19 means he gives us plenty of options and he's still developing, but from what we have seen of him at training he should be a good addition to the squad."
Brown is eligible to make his A-League debut in the Mariners match against Adelaide on Friday.
