Premier Showdown - Dec 28-30

Christmas cheer for Tommy at the weekend as he picked up the first festive three-point haul.

We're heading over to Canada for this next round of Showdown. Our competitor is Steve Harris who hails from Fredericton in Canada.

Steve says: "I've been living in Canada since 1985 when I moved there from England to do a Masters in Sport Administration.

"I am a long time Derby County fan and have played, coached and refereed extensively over the past 40 years.

"This season it has been very hard to predict Premier League scores, but I don't think I'll have any trouble beating Dale and Tommy."

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and ESPNsoccernet Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
