Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios has been released from hospital and is in contention to face Wolves at the weekend following his rib injury.
Palacios was taken to hospital on Sunday night after colliding with Tony Hibbert at the end of the 2-2 draw with Everton at Goodison Park, and boss Harry Redknapp revealed he had been in a lot of pain. However, no significant damage has been done and he should be back in action sooner rather than later.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Wilson Palacios was cleared to travel back from Liverpool with the team after visiting hospital as a precaution following the rib injury sustained against Everton on Sunday evening.
"The midfielder will be assessed over the course of the week to determine his availability for the weekend fixture against Wolves."
