Ancelotti admits to admiration for Balotelli

Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti is among the admirers of Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

The 19-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place at the San Siro this season but Inter president Massimo Moratti insists he is a big part of the club's future and is under contract until June 2013.

Asked if he would want to have Balotelli in London, Ancelotti told La Stampa: ''I like him. I don't know how easy it is to coach him. If it is true that he is prone to indiscipline, then (Inter coach Jose) Mourinho does well to punish him. But I hope he does not throw away his great talent.''

Balotelli, who is of Ghanaian origin, was left out of the squad for Sunday's 1-0 triumph over Fiorentina and reports in Italy claim Balotelli's relationship with Mourinho is strained.

Balotelli has struck four times in 11 league appearances for the Nerazzurri this season.
