Olsen adds Jensen to Denmark squad

Coach Morten Olsen on Friday added Werder Bremen midfielder Daniel Jensen to his Denmark squad for the Group One World Cup qualifiers at home to Sweden on October 10 and Hungary four days later.

Olsen will name one more player after the weekend to complete the 23-man squad.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Kim Christensen (IFK Gothenburg), Stephan Andersen (Brondby), Thomas Sorensen (Stoke City).

Defenders: Anders Moller Christensen (OB Odense), Daniel Agger (Liverpool), Lars Jacobsen (Blackburn Rovers), Michael Jakobsen (AaB Aalborg), Per Kroldrup (Fiorentina), Simon Kjaer (US Citta di Palermo), William Kvist Jorgensen (FC Copenhagen).

Midfielders: Christian Poulsen (Juventus), Jakob Poulsen (AGF Aarhus), Michael Silberbauer (Utrecht), Soren Rieks (Esbjerg), Daniel Jensen (Werder Bremen).

Forwards: Dennis Rommedahl (Ajax Amsterdam), Jesper Bech (Silkeborg), Jesper Gronkjaer (FC Copenhagen), Jon Dahl Tomasson (Feyenoord), Martin Jorgensen (Fiorentina), Nicklas Bendtner (Arsenal), Soren Larsen (Duisburg).
