Gomez, Khumalo score twice as D.C. drops Jabloteh

WASHINGTON -- Christian Gomez and Thiaboso Khumalo each scored twice to lead D.C. United to a 5-1 victory over San Juan Jabloteh in CONCACAF Champions League play Wednesday night.

Fred also scored to help D.C. (3-2) move into sole possession of second place in Group B. The top two teams from the six-match round robin qualify for March's quarterfinals.

Jerrel Britto scored for San Juan Jabloteh (0-5), which was mathematically eliminated with the loss.

Only 3,411 fans attended the game, the smallest United crowd at RFK stadium in nine years.
