Former Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin has joined Hamilton Academical on a short-term deal, it was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.
Beuzelin, 30, was available outside of the transfer window given he was a free agent after leaving Coventry City over the summer despite making 35 Championship appearances in his only season with the club.
After maintaining his fitness by training with Celtic under Tony Mowbray, the man who brought him to Scotland when signing him for Hibs in 2004, Beuzelin has now earned a contract with Billy Reid's Hamilton until January.
"It has been a very frustrating time," Beuzelin said of his summer of uncertainty. "Some clubs have said they'd like to take me then changed their minds, others said maybe and nothing came out of it."
Beuzelin spent four years with Hibernian and made 99 SPL appearances, scoring ten goals for the Edinburgh club.
