Former Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin is close to signing a short-term deal with Hamilton Academical.
Free agent Beuzelin, 29, left Coventry City in the summer but after an unsuccessful trial at MK Dons and after spending time training with Celtic, the Frenchman will have a medical on Tuesday and sign a deal until January.
Hamilton manager Billy Reid told BBC Scotland that Beuzelin, who won the Scottish League Cup with Hibs in 2007, would be a great addition to his squad.
"Guillaume would bring a bit of quality to the team," the Hamilton boss said. "He's a fantastic player."
Tony Mowbray first brought the midfielder to Scottish football, while manager at Hibs, when he signed him from French side Le Havre in July 2004.
Beuzelin made 117 appearances in four seasons at Easter Road, netting 10 goals, will be aiming to help life the Accies up from 10th in the SPL, starting with a possible debut against St Johnstone on Saturday
