Premier Showdown - Sept 19-20

Four wins on the bounce now for Dale Johnson which only serves to increase the pressure on Tommy Smyth and the Rest of the World.

It's been a horror start for the ROTW as they remain pointless with five rounds played. Surely this can't go on much longer?

Looking to put things right this weekend is Brian Walker who hails from the wonderfully named Kalamazoo, Michigan in the United States.

He says: "Drogba will win the Ballon d'Or this year! Hello all, my name is Brian and I am a new born Blues fan. I'm a student at Western Michigan University and played a little bit of footie in high school.

"I started watching the Premier League and Champions Leauge around 2006 after enjoying Italy's run to win the World Cup. I was appealed to the talent Chelsea had and I reckon the great one (Mourinho) had the pull of God on me.

"Anyway, I know I am still new to the ways of the beautiful game, but after watching a few seaons of the Premier League I would like to think I have an idea of what teams are capable of. So I hope that these perdictions have somewhat of a shot at taking Dale off the high seat."

Let's find out how Brian does.....

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and ESPNsoccernet Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
