Smith unlikely to contest SFA touchline ban
Rangers boss Walter Smith has confirmed he is unlikely to appeal if he is handed a touchline ban.
Smith is facing up to the prospect of a four-match touchline ban following his sending off in last weekend's goalless draw with Kilmarnock.
The Gers chief was sent to the stands by referee Steve Conroy after reacting angrily to Pedro Mendes' dismissal at Rugby Park.
If found guilty of misconduct, Smith faces being banned for four matches instead of two because it would be his second such offence in the last three years.
"I will have the right of appeal, like anyone else, and it will depend on what they accuse me of," said Smith. "But when you're out of order, like I admit I was on Saturday, then you have to accept it. I was wrong in my reaction."
