Racing agree loan deals for Henrique and Xisco

Racing Santander are set to add two new faces to their squad after agreeing one-year loan deals for Barcelona defender Henrique and Newcastle striker Xisco.

Brazilian Henrique, 21, joined Barca 12 months ago from Palmeiras before spending last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen - while 23-year-old Spaniard Xisco moved to Newcastle from Deportivo La Coruna last September.

Racing confirmed on their website that they had reached agreements with both Barca and Newcastle to take the two players on loan until June 30, 2010 - adding that the pair will be added to the Cantabrian club's squad once they pass their medicals.

Racing, under new coach Juan Carlos Mandia, started their Primera Division campaign with a 4-1 home defeat to Getafe yesterday.
