Portsmouth complete deal for striker Smith
Portsmouth have signed Watford striker Tommy Smith on a four-year contract, for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old, who had also attracted interest from Watford's League Championship rivals Reading, revealed he moved to the Fratton Park club after talks with Portsmouth's manager.
Smith told the club official website: "I spoke to Paul Hart and it sounded brilliant. Everything down here is certainly what I was looking for and I'm sure I made the right decision."
It is reported that Pompey are also in talks with Wigan Athletic to sign midfielder Michael Brown.
