Ligue 1: Gourcuff double sends Bordeaux top

Bordeaux turned in a fine second-half performance to overrun Nice 4-0 and take their place at the top of Ligue 1.

Nice started stronger, but never got a sniff in after Jussie put the hosts ahead two minutes before the break.

Yoann Gourcuff (52, 70) grabbed a couple after the break before Alou Diarra put the icing on the cake in the 76th minute.

Lens secured their second win of the season and condemned Grenoble to their third straight defeat with a 2-1 result.

Abdoulrazak Boukari netted the second-half winner for the visitors after Eduardo dos Santos' early opener had been cancelled out by Daniel Ljuboja.

The hosts remain at the wrong end of the table having failed to pick up a point so far, while Les Sang et Or climbed to sixth.

Lille are still searching for their first win after they drew 1-1 at home to Toulouse.

Robert Vittek's goal shortly before the interval gave the home side hope of claiming victory, but Cheikh M'Bengue replied in the second half to ensure the points were shared.
