Leonardo says Milan close to "no" on Fabiano
Luis Fabiano's move to AC Milan looks dead in the water after Rossoneri coach Leonardo said the club have all but given up on the transfer.
The Italian giants have been linked with Fabiano all summer, with a war of words erupting between both camps about the size of their offer to Sevilla.
Milan reportedly bid €14m but Sevilla are holding out for a fee nearer to Fabiano's release clause, which is an estimated €26m.
But it looks as though Fabiano will be plying his trade in La Liga again next season after the Milan boss said: "The moment has come to decided yes or no,'' Leonardo told Sky Italia. "And we are very close to no.
"We started with the idea to bring in a heavyweight forward such as (Edin) Dzeko or a real winger and at the moment the only who one can play on the wing is Ronaldinho. It's true that we haven't been reinforced, but I honestly believe that this squad can have a good season.''
