Lampard fit for FA Cup final

Chelsea expect midfield star Frank Lampard and cental defender Alex to be fit for Saturday's FA Cup final after a week's rest.

Julian Belletti has also responded well to treatment after picking up a thigh problem at Sunderland last Sunday.

Defender Ricardo Carvalho and midfielder Deco (hamstring) could come into contention, but long-term absentees Joe Cole and Paulo Ferreira (both knee) remain sidelined.

Everton boss David Moyes meanwhile will have captain Phil Neville and winger Steven Pienaar available to him for the game at Wembley, which will be the Merseyside club's first final since their 1-0 FA Cup win against Manchester United in 1995.

Both Pienaar and Neville have been declared fit after sustaining minor hamstring problems in last weekend's final league win at Fulham.

Moyes is expected to choose between striker Louis Saha and midfielder Jack Rodwell when he completes his line-up.

As well as the glory of winning the oldest cup competition in the world - this year in it's 128th year - the winning club will receive £2m from the Football Association and the runner-up £1m.
