Red Bulls send Oduro to Houston for draft picks
SECAUCUS, N.J. -- The New York Red Bulls have traded forward Dominic Oduro to Houston for the Dynamo's highest first-round pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft and its highest second-round pick in the 2011 draft.
The Red Bulls on Wednesday also waived goalkeeper Terry Boss.
Oduro, 23, played in three regular season games for the Red Bulls, starting one. He also had one assist in two games in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup action. The Pramso, Ghana, native was acquired from FC Dallas on Jan. 13.
Boss, the brother of New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss, was signed on Sept. 15. He appeared in four MLS Reserve League games in 2008, posting a 0.40 goals against average and a 1-1-1 record. He underwent season-ending knee surgery on Nov. 20.
