WPS suspends Latham, fines DiCicco

The Women's Professional Soccer Disciplinary Committee announced the suspension of Boston Breakers forward Christine Latham for two games and fined her $250 for an elbow thrown in the 51st minute against the Washington Freedom on May 17.

In addition, the WPS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Washington Freedom midfielder Joanna Lohman for one game for an elbow thrown in the 90th minute against the Boston Breakers on May 17.

Boston Breakers head coach Tony DiCicco was also fined $750 for public criticizing WPS game officials and officiating. He is also required to serve four hours of community service in the sport of soccer.
