Swine flu hits CONCACAF region schedule
Growing fears over the outbreak of swine flu in Mexico have forced the cancellation of the remainder of the CONCACAF under-17 championship in Tijuana.
Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico and the U.S. were due to contest the semi-finals of the youth tournament on Wednesday.
CONCACAF also postponed the second leg of the Champions League finals between Cruz Azul and Atlante FC until May 12.
Up to 149 people in Mexico have died of the new swine flu virus known as H1N1, which has caused milder symptoms in other countries including the United States, Canada, Spain, Britain, Israel and New Zealand.
