Inter Milan tracking French defender Escude
Serie A leaders Inter Milan are reported to be tracking Sevilla centre-half Julien Escude.
The Frenchman is no stranger to transfer gossip, having previously been linked with a move to Manchester United.
He has been in Spain since 2006 and has expressed no desire to move on, but that could be about to change.
Escude admits that the opportunity to join a club of Inter's stature would be difficult to turn down, but insists no approach has been made as yet.
"I have a contract with Sevilla until 2011 and I like this club," the 28-year-old told skysports.com. "But when Inter, with one of the best coaches in the world (Jose Mourinho), are interested in you it proves that you are doing something right.
"I have always tried to respect my contracts in football but you never know what could happen."
It is believed that a bid of around 10million euros (£9m) could be enough to tempt Sevilla into a sale.
