Premier Showdown - April 18-19

Just when Dale Johnson thought he was in the clear at the top of the table it's the Rest of the World which claims a victory to close in. The gap at the summit is now a mere six points; or two rounds with six left to go. It could go either way, though Tommy Smyth's hopes of a first ever title seem to be slipping away and fast. Looking to keep the ROTW's end up this weekend will be Brent Kelly Let Brent tell us all about himself: "I'm a true football fan all the way from Trinidad. In Trinidad, the Premier League has a huge fan base. "I'm 32 years old and I've been following English football since the age of seven. I have supported Everton throughout the years from the time they won the league and the FA cup in the 1983-84 season. I'm an accountant by profession with a passion for football." Now this seems like a challenge. Bring it on!

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and ESPNsoccernet Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
