Villarreal midfielder Senna out for three weeks
Villarreal captain Marcos Senna will be out of action for around three weeks due to his hamstring njury, the Primera Division club have confirmed.
The Spain international sustained the injury late on in Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Malaga and was immediately ruled out of the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal.
Now, after undergoing tests this morning, the talismanic midfielder has been told he will be sidelined for the next three weeks, ruling him out of the league games against Real Valladolid, Recreativo Huelva, Getafe and Sevilla.
The 32-year-old would also probably miss the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals if Villarreal were to get there, with that match scheduled for the end of this month.
