Cani and Fernandez return for Villarreal

Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini has named midfield duo Cani and Mati Fernandez in a 20-man squad for this week's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal.

Both Cani and Fernandez missed Saturday's 2-0 league defeat to Malaga through injury but will travel to London as Villarreal look to keep alive their European dream after being held 1-1 at home by the Gunners in last week's first leg.

Also named in the squad is teenage midfielder Jordi Pablo as Pellegrini keeps his options open for the match, but the Yellow Submarine must do without two of their key players as Spain internationals Marcos Senna and Santi Cazorla are injured.

Captain Senna was ruled out of Wednesday's match after suffering a hamstring injury late on against Malaga, while Cazorla is out for the next three months after breaking his leg during the recent league game with Almeria.
