No surprises in Bolivia squad for Mexico match
Bolivia coach Erwin Sanchez has sprung no majors surprises with his selection of a 21-man provisional squad ahead of the upcoming friendly against Mexico.
Sanchez will work with a squad of mostly Bolivia-based players at a training camp from February 16 to 20 in La Paz before submitting a final squad to face Sven Goran Eriksson's side on March 11 in Denver.
This will be Bolivia's final warm-up match prior to the World Cup qualifiers against Colombia on March 28 and Argentina three days later.
Bolivia are a long way off the pace in their qualifying campaign after taking nine points from 10 rounds, leaving them 14 points behind leaders Paraguay.
Squad: Hugo Suarez (Wilstermann), Carlos Arias (Bolivar); Ronald Rivero (Universitario de Sucre), Miguel Hoyos, Abdon Reyes, Ignacio Garcia (all Bolivar), Edemir Rodriguez, Luis Gatty Ribeiro (both Real Potosi), Cristian Vargas (Blooming), Santos Amador (Wilstermann), Limbert Mendez (Aurora); Walter Flores, Leonel Reyes (both Bolivar), Alejandro Gomez, Jaime Robles (both Blooming), Mauricio Saucedo (Universitario), Didi Torrico (Wilstermann), Joselito Vaca (Oriente Petrolero), Julio Cesar Hurtado (Aurora); Nelson Sossa (Aurora), Juan Carlos Arce (Oriente Petrolero).
