Dortmund's Hummels to miss rest of the season
Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels could miss the rest of the season over fears he has torn ligaments in his ankle.
The 20-year-old suffered the injury during training yesterday - his first day back on the field following a five-week lay-off for a similar problem.
Hummels, who recently agreed a permanent deal with Dortmund following a loan spell from Bayern Munich, will now visit a specialist to determine whether he needs surgery.
Dortmund's sporting director, Michael Zorc, told the club's website: "If he needs an operation, there won't be too much left of the season for him."
