Heinze happy at Madrid despite PSG link

Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze insists he has had no contact with Paris St Germain - but may welcome a return to the French capital one day.

Former PSG president Charles Villeneuve - who stepped down on February 3 - had been linked with trying to tempt Heinze back to the club he first joined in 2001.

But the 30-year-old, who spent three years with PSG before joining Manchester United in 2004, is contracted to Madrid until 2011 and does not look set to be lured away from the Bernabeu just yet.

''I've had no contact with any officials,'' the Argentina full-back told L'Equipe before admitting he is open to the idea of returning at some point down the line.

''I am pleased PSG won again (4-1 at Nantes on Saturday). I like PSG. And I would be pleased to be able one day to wear this jersey again and return to this club and its supporters.''

Heinze's Argentina play France in an international friendly in Marseille on Wednesday.
