Nigeria striker Peter Odemwingie is keen on a move to the Premier League, having been linked with several English clubs this January, including Everton.
The Lokomotiv Moscow forward has spent the last two seasons in Russia, but feels the time has come to now move on.
''All of Nigeria has for a long time been hooked on the English Premier League, they show it everywhere,'' the 27-year-old told Russian newspaper Sovetsky Sport.
''Everybody advises me, even asks me, the people from the Federation, friends, fans - for a transfer to England.''
Odemwingie, who began his career in Russia with Lokomotiv's city rivals CSKA, has also played for Belgian club La Louviere, where he won the domestic cup, before he was snatched up by French club Lille.
He added: ''Clubs have shown and continue to show an interest in me from Europe.
''I'm more and more often thinking about continuing my career in the West. This wish is a lot to do with the Nigerian national team.
''It is getting close to the World Cup in South Africa. The fans are getting more interested in the national team, but practically never see my games in Russia.''
