Sao Paulo coach Muricy Ramalho is set to sign a contract extension which will keep him at the club until December 2010.
The 53-year-old, who took up the post in 2006 and has guided the team to three Campeonato Brasileiro titles in a row, is poised to pen his new deal shortly.
"I did not sign yet, but we have agreed on all the terms," he told Lancenet.com.
"I had a meeting during the week with doctor Juvenal (Juvencio, president) and we closed the deal.
"The only step left is my lawyer and the club's lawyer reading the contract, but there will be no problem. I always send my lawyer before signing anything."
The 1994 Copa Conmebol champion with Sao Paulo is happy to commit his future to the club.
"That is great for me," he said. "It is part of the philosophy I chose for my career, which is to carry out all my contracts until the end."
