New Boca Juniors general manager Carlos Bianchi insists he will not interfere with the decisions made by head coach Carlos Ischia.
Bianchi has signed a lucrative three-year contract with the Argentinian giants, which includes a clause stipulating that he will not replace Ischia if the coach leaves.
"I will not be involved in the training sessions, the selecting of the starting line-up nor the tactics Carlos employs," said Bianchi.
"Carlos is the chief of the first team. He manages the dressing room. If I have to talk to the players, I'll do it, but the dressing room is his property.
"My job has nothing to do with the coaching job."
Bianchi confirmed Boca are on on the hunt for a new goalkeeper, and have targeted Getafe's Roberto Abbondanzieri and Oscar Cordoba, of Colombian side Millonarios.
"We want to set the deal with one of them, even though we haven't made any decision yet."
