America claim top group spot in Colombia's Copa

America claimed top spot in Group B of Colombia's Copa Mustang II after sharing a 2-2 draw with Cali city rivals Depotivo.

Freddy Montero opened the scoring for Deportivo after 24 minutes, but striker Gustavo Ramos equalised for America before the break.

Both teams were reduced to 10 men as Deportivo defender Juan Dominguez and America's Camilo Angulo were both dismissed.

Depotivo looked to have claimed all three points after Elkin Calle headed his side ahead with 10 minutes remaining, but Paulo Arango earned America a share of the spoils.

America finished the game with nine men after Harrison Otalvaro was sent off in injury time.

After this draw, America took the lead of Group B with four points from two games, while Deportivo collected their first point of the competition.
