Ancelotti laments Milan's lack of finishing touch

Carlo Ancelotti called for his AC Milan team to show more ruthlessness after watching them squander a lead at Torino on Sunday night.

Having gone behind to Roberto Stellone's 25th-minute strike, Milan roared back and equalised through Alexandre Pato before Ronaldinho put the visitors ahead 10 minutes before half-time.

But a 77th-minute penalty from Alessandro Rosina sealed a 2-2 draw and denied the Rossoneri a victory which would have taken them back to within a point of leaders Inter Milan.

''I am only part satisfied,'' Ancelotti told the club's website. ''After a good first half, the second half could have been handled much better. We should have covered better and not given away so many chances to Torino. We should have defended better and been more compact.

''We played well in parts, we play good possession football but we are lacking in the decisive moments. Also in Lecce we should have won but we didn't, we did not manage to close the game. We have to improve in that sense, when we are in front we have to handle the matches better.''

Defender Daniele Bonera was also disappointed at Milan's failure to take all three points from their trip to Turin.

''We expected to take home the three points, but Torino played a good match and Milan were not at their best,'' he said. We have to continue on this road to fight for the league. Unfortunately it happens a lot that we create a lot of chances without managing to score.''
