France have called up Jean-Alain Boumsong ahead of Wednesday's international friendly against Uruguay in Paris.
The Lyon defender, who will link up with Les Bleus this afternoon, has been summoned as cover for Bacary Sagna, the Arsenal right-back who is set to be out for several weeks with an ankle injury sustained against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
Midfielder Lassana Diarra is also expected to be officially ruled out of Wednesday's match at the Stade de France.
The 23-year-old sprained his left ankle in the first half of Portsmouth's match at West Ham on Saturday.
AC Milan midfield anchorman Mathieu Flamini is being tipped to come in for Diarra although no official replacement has yet been named.
Les Bleus will train at their base in Clairefontaine on Monday afternoon.
